Whether you’re planning a large conference for 240, a meeting for 100 attendees, or a small training session for 10, Hope Community Church has an affordable meeting room to fit your needs.
Hope Community Church, located in the heart of the historic Platt Park neighborhood, welcomes business leaders and professionals planning a day or half-day event.
Conference Meeting Room
Our large meeting venue is the centerpiece of our meeting rooms. It is a large, open meeting room that has been recently remodeled and is tastefully decorated. Choose this space for group gatherings, keynote addresses or performances.
A grand piano is available and the stage can accommodate a small band. The lighting is on dimmers and can be adjusted by areas.
The spacious hall seats 250, and can be arranged to suit your needs, with round tables or rectangular tables, or chairs set up auditorium style.
The professional kitchen, located just steps away between the large meeting room and the intimate training room, is available for your caterer’s use.
Specialized Meeting Rooms
You can choose from a variety of spaces to suit your specific needs. Our medium-sized rooms with upholstered sofa and chairs are perfect for brainstorming sessions away from the office, business day retreats or other specialized meetings.
Our church has classrooms that are suitable for breakout sessions. Most of them are set up with one or two rectangular tables and chairs. A white board may be mounted on one wall, and a portable TV/DVD and a projector are available for rental.
Small Outdoor Park
Our park is ideal for break time, team building activities or lunch in warm weather. You are welcome to put up a small tent, tables and chairs and any other equipment.
The Theater, our most intimate meeting venue, is ideal for training. It is quiet: Sound quality, lighting and scale are conducive to interacting, concentrating and learning.
Newly remodeled, the focus of the room is a small stage with drapery. The room has an audio-visual system, including a 50-inch high definition TV with a computer link. Tables and chairs can be set up to suit your needs. The room will accommodate about 50 seated at tables, and about 75 in chairs set up auditorium style. It also has sofas and upholstered chairs, should you wish to use them.
The professional kitchen, located just steps away between the large meeting room and the intimate training room, is available for your caterers use.
The Upper Room is perfect for lectures. A projector, screen, sound system, and stage lighting make it easy to give presentations, and there are folding tables and chairs that can be arranged in a variety of ways to suit your needs. Ideal for small- to mid-size groups, with space for up to 50 people.
Services for Your Meeting
When you host your event at Hope Community Church, you will have the complete services of an event coordinator to help you create a successful meeting or conference. According to the space you choose, your coordinator will show you the resources included with your reservation.
Rates listed are for 4 hours and include a cleaning fee; add 20% for each additional hour.
