Our Visionpreschool boy

We provide hope in Jesus’ name to our children by …

Honoring each child’s spiritual development in their relationship with God, with one another, and with their neighbors.

Outstanding Volunteers who love children, are well equipped, and are greatly appreciated.

Partnering with Parents to share resources and provide support as they oversee the spiritual growth of their children.

Excellent Leaning Environments where children are safe, loved, and feel at home.

Our Programs

Every Sunday, the following programs are available for children ages 0 – 5th grade. The Preschool and Elementary programs take place during the service, typically after worship and announcements. Children are dismissed at the appropriate time. The Nursery is available beginning at 10:20 am so that parents can drop off their children before the service begins at 10:30 am.

Baby Skybox
The Baby Skybox is a place designed for parents to listen to the service while they care for their baby.  It is located above the Sanctuary, in the back, and is accessible through a staircase off the lobby, near the main entrance.

Nursery (birth – 2 1/2 years)
This is a safe, secure, and fun place for babies and toddlers.  Our volunteers are ready to play, comfort, and provide a great experience for your child.

Preschool (2 – 5 years) preschool girls
Preschoolers will enjoy a variety of activities that allow them to touch, feel, and move around while learning about the love of God. Through Bible stories, puppets, songs, crafts, games, and lots more, children will learn about God, build friendships with each other, and practice serving others.

Elementary (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)
Grade school children will engage in fun and interesting activities that help develop their relationship with God, nurture their friendships with one another, and provide opportunities for serving others.

Special Events

Kids Camp
Each summer we offer an exciting week of camp for children ages 4 – 12.  Children enjoy skits, music, crafts, group games, and outdoor activities that teach about God’s love!

Easter Egg Hunt
Everyone is invited to Platt Park the Saturday before Easter Sunday to hunt for thousands of eggs stuffed with candy and prizes!  We have donuts and hot drinks for the grown-ups!

New Rule

As of April 2016 we are instituting a new rule to help ensure the safety of our kids. Thankfully, we have not had any safety problems or concerns on Hope’s campus and we are 100% committed to keeping things this way. As soon as the service is over, every area of the property is off-limits to kids (ages 0-18) except the Sanctuary, Front Lobby and lawn. Within the Sanctuary, the stage is also off-limits. Click here to read a letter from Children’s Ministry Director Anna McMichael explaining the new rule.
