Serve

“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” – Isaiah 58:10

Serving our community and neighborhood is is a privilege and something we love to do. Just as a lighthouse shines bright so that one can find their way, we also get to help those in need and share the ultimate light – Christ’s love – with others. If there is something we can support you with, please let us know. If you would like to join us in caring for others, please read further and consider being a part of impacting neighbors and friends in need. Thank you!

Here are a few of the ways that Hope currently serves in the community:

  • We developed Hope Park, a quiet open space on the SE corner of Grant St. and Colorado Ave. The park is on church property but available for public use, making it a great connection point with the community. Neighbors enjoy having a place to read, walk dogs, relax, run, and play.  The park is also very convenient for Hope events such as outdoor meetings, BBQs, and games for kids.
  • Hope is one of many area churches that partners with the Community Ministries Food Bank to provide food for those in need.
  • We partner with numerous other churches and the  Denver Rescue Mission to provide funds, transitional assistance, and a mentoring team to minister to homeless families and senior citizens.
  • We also maintain a designated fund in order to assist those around us who are in need of various things such as food, clothing, toiletries, etc.
