2nd SUNDAY OF ADVENT | 9AM WORSHIP. We welcome you, family and friends to the Advent Season leading up to the celebration of our King’s birth. This Sunday, one of Hope’s Elders, Rob Cupp, will bring tomorrow’s message titled Gratitude from Philippians 4:10-13. If you are unable to attend in person, both a livestream and sermon recording will be available for you here.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.
Children’s Ministry in Advent –Kids, ages preschool through 5th grade, will be preparing for the Christmas Program during our scheduled children’s church time the next two Sundays. The Christmas Program will take place on 3rd Sunday of Advent, December 21. Invite your family and friends!
Babies and Toddlers – This week our Sky Box Nursery is open for babies and toddlers up to age 3 (and all 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month). Parents, please check-in at the foyer if you would like your child to be supervised by our trained Children’s Ministry volunteer on the 1st or 3rd Sundays. The Baby Sky Box is also available every Sunday for caregivers and their young children at any point during the service.
For any questions regarding Children’s Ministry policies and procedures or interest in volunteering, please contact Becky Newquist.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD | Thank You & One Remaining Need: Thank you to all who packed boxes at home; set up, participated in, and/or cleaned up after the packing party; and those who generously contributed toward shipping costs to send 190 Christmas shoeboxes to children around the world! After counting the financial donations and adding Hope’s budgeted amount, there is a remaining need of $427 to cover shipping costs. If you would like to help with this, please indicate “OCC” on the memo of your check or on-line gift. THANK YOU to Joan Thacker for your faithful service and leadership again this year!
Asbury Giving Tree – If you are looking for an opportunity to bless kids in our community this Christmas season, please stop by our Giving Tree in the Foyer. There you will find ornaments labeled with a gift for a specific child, who otherwise might go without a special gift this Christmas. You can select an ornament of your choice, purchase the gift on the label, and return wrapped (with the label) to the boxes by the Giving Tree by Sunday December 14. If you have any questions, or would like to participate remotely, please contact Becky Newquist.

Office Space for Rent. Of our three offices for rent, one is available to be rented to a non-profit organization or church for $400/month. If you or anyone you know would like to learn more, please reach out to Aubrey Melton.
