4th SUNDAY OF ADVENT | 9AM WORSHIP & CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM. Don’t miss tomorrow’s service which will include worship and a special program from the Children. During the time when we typically have a sermon, Hope’s children will bring the message by sharing, as children are uniquely qualified to do, the  Nativity story through Scripture readings, a simple reenactment and singing. Thank you to the Platt Park Hope Group for hosting and helping with tomorrow’s Service. If you are unable to attend in person, both a livestream and Children’s Program recording will be available for you here.

DECEMBER 24 – FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE. Please join us for a special candlelight worship Service at 5 p.m. on December 24. This is a very sweet opportunity to bring family and friends to join in celebrating the true meaning of Christmas. As in year’s past, children will join their parents in this Service, and the Baby Sky Box will be available for those with infants. We are so looking forward to this time together!

DECEMBER 28 – INFORMAL SERVICE. On the Sunday between Christmas and New Years, we are giving our Sunday Service staff and volunteers the morning off to travel and/or rest at home with family. So, we will have a simplified and informal gathering including hot drinks, doughnuts, bacon, singing, prayer, Scripture reading and an interactive discussion from the Bible. We will not have tech, livestream, children’s ministry, amplified music, etc. With this change in mind, please join us if you are in town and would like to gather in this informal way! – Dean

Babies and Toddlers –  This Sunday, The Sky Box Nursery will be open for babies and toddlers up to age 3 (and all 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month). Parents, please check-in at the foyer if you would like your child to be supervised by our trained Children’s Ministry volunteer on the 1st or 3rd Sundays. The Baby Sky Box is also available every Sunday for caregivers and their young children at any point during the service. For any questions regarding Children’s Ministry policies and procedures or interest in volunteering, please contact Becky Newquist.

GIVING TREE. Thank you to all who contributed generously and creatively to this year’s Giving Tree. Gifts were picked up Monday and are being distributed this week to the families in need. The PTO at Asbury Elementary expressed their extreme gratitude for our partnership in this effort that will bless parents with the dignity of giving good gifts to their children, and children with the joy of receiving beautiful gifts from their parents. Please pray for these families, that they would experience the true GIFT of Jesus as they give and receive this Christmas.

FINANCIAL UPDATE & YEAR-END GIFT OPPORTUNITY.
Thank you to all who give consistently to Hope! If you would like to give a year-end gift, you can do so online here, mail a check to 1801 S.
