9AM WORSHIP TOMORROW. Join us for worship and praise! Lead Pastor Dean Wertz brings a sermon titled When the Empire Strikes Back from Acts 11:19-12:24. Thanks to the Harvard Gulch Hope Group for hosting our morning tomorrow! As a reminder, the Sunday Service is available via livestream and the sermon is posted online on Monday.
BAPTISM. We were planning to facilitate baptism during the Service on October 11. However, a request to postpone came from a young man who would like to be baptized when his family is in town at some point this fall. This is a request we are happy to honor. So, if you are interested in being baptized in the days ahead, please reach out to Pastor Dean or Administrative Assistant Aubrey Milton.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD. It’s that time of year to consider being a part of a very special opportunity for giving to children in need! Prior to the Holiday Season, Hope takes part in this amazing effort to make a difference for many families at Christmas. Please consider taking a shoebox (or more) to fill with toys, goodies, and gifts. They will be located in the church lobby. More information to come soon!

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.
Children’s Church. Kids, please join us this week for Children’s Church as we continue our interactive journey through the book of Acts. We will be learning about the first believers to be called Christians because they belonged to and behaved like Christ.
Babies and Toddlers – At any point before or during the Sunday Service, the Baby Sky Box is available for caregivers and their babies and toddlers.
For any questions regarding Children’s Ministry policies and procedures or interest in volunteering, please contact Becky Newquist.
YOUTH GROUP! Youth Group is now meeting Sundays from 5-7 p.m. for worship, study, food & fun! Please note that on Sunday, October 25, Youth Group will join the rest of the Church for the Fall Festival. Please bring friends! Also, we are still looking for volunteers that can cook – The Youth Group is in need of our assistance to make dinner/s for approximately 6-12 teenagers for one or more Sunday Night Youth Group gatherings at the church. One-and-done or on a 1x/month basis would be amazing. Please let Aubrey know if you are able to help! Thank you! For general questions on the Hope Youth Group, please reach out to Conner Snow.
FINANCIAL UPDATE. Thank you to so many who are giving consistently to Hope! For those who have recently joined our community and/or are curious about giving to Hope, you can give online here, mail a check to 1801 S.
