We will be holding a special, outdoor baptism following the Sunday morning service on August 28th. Bear Creek Park is just a short drive from Hope — there are maps at the Info Booth. Bring a picnic lunch and blankets or camping chairs, if you’d like. There’s a lot of room to play, so bring frisbees, footballs, or any other sporting equipment too. We will have lunch first, then gather at 1:00 pm to hear the testimonies of those being baptized, sing a couple of songs together, followed by the baptism and then time to hang out! If you are interested in being baptized, please contact Pastor Dean Wertz or one of the other church leaders. A baptism class will be held at Hope from 9:00 – 10:00 am on Sunday, August 21.
