HOPE VBS | GET READY FOR A FUN FAITH-FILLED WEEKEND!
June 28-30
Friday 4:30-7 p.m.
Saturday 9-12 a.m.
Sunday 8:30-11 a.m.*
At Outback Rock VBS (Vacation Bible School), kids will venture into rock solid faith and discover God’s powerful presence in everyday life! This year’s VBS at Hope is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that kids see, hear, and touch. The below activities help faith flow into real life:
Team-building Games!
Active Bible Songs!
Multi-sensory Bible Adventures!
Kids will also participate in an outreach project, called Projects-With-a-Purpose®. Our children will be led to show God’s love to others in their community!
Outback Rock VBS condenses a traditional Vacation Bible School experience into three short one-weekend sessions so that busy families can participate AND invite friends!
*Parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to join in for a Sunday Celebration June 30 at 9:00 a.m., where the children will share songs and lessons they learned about God’s goodness, capped off by a pancake breakfast!
Email Becky Newquist with any questions and check out the VBS website to volunteer and register your children for this life-changing adventure!
WORSHIP SERVICE | SUNDAY APRIL 28 | 9 AM. “Many men and women today are living, often with inner dissatisfaction, without any faith in God at all. This is because they have not found with their adult minds a God big enough to account for life, big enough to fit in with the new scientific age, big enough to command their highest admiration and respect, and consequently their willing cooperation.” J. B. Phillips’ words are true today as they were when he wrote them in 1955. Join us on Sunday at 9 a.m. for the fourth week in our study on the names of God as we encounter God, “Adonai” and discover that He is worthy to command our highest admiration and respect! Lead Pastor Dean Wertz will bring a message titled The Lord from Isaiah 6:1-8. If you are unable to join us in person, please visit the 9 a.m. livestream or view the sermon recording here. Also, sermon recordings are available online mid-day Monday.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY. This 4th Sunday of the month is a Family Sunday. Kids of all ages are invited to remain in the service with their families. We encourage children to participate in worship and engage in all aspects of the service as they are able. The baby sky box is also available for families with babies and toddlers. For any questions regarding Children’s Ministry policies and procedures or interest in volunteering, please contact Becky Newquist.
This past Sunday, our children were again invited to share what is happening during Children’s Church: a continued fun study on the names of God.
YOUTH. Join us this Sunday to celebrate and send off our awesome leaders, Tara and James, as they step into their exciting new chapter in life! We’ll have snacks, games, and plenty of good vibes. Don’t miss out!
