**ONLINE ONLY** | DECEMBER 25 | CHRISTMAS DAY SERVICE. When we recognize how extraordinary God is and how ordinary we are by comparison, we may feel that God is too different from us to understand us or too distant from us to be close to us. But when read the Christmas story with a fresh interpretation, we discover that God came to us in many ordinary ways, easing our fears that he is too different or too distant. Instead, he became like us and came close to us. Please note, we will not have an in-person service on Sunday morning but will provide a pre-recorded Christmas service on the Sunday Service page at our web site. We hope you have a chance to enjoy this service online. Merry Christmas!
THE STORY – 2023. On Sunday January 1, we will begin a new sermon series and annual focus entitled, The Story. Each Sunday morning, a member of our preaching team will cover the major events of each unit and connect those events to the larger story of God’s love for humanity. Many of our groups will discuss the theme of the week and everyone has the option to purchase a copy of an aligning book called, The Story at the links below. A Children’s Book and Teen version are also available for those who would like to engage every member of your household! Together, we will discover the unfolding progression of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation. Like any good story, The Story is filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance, and redemption – and this story is true! For anyone curious about the Bible, new to Hope, new to the Bible or new to a life with Jesus this will be an incredible opportunity to learn the united and comprehensive story of the Bible.
