MEMBERSHIP WINTER HUDDLE 2022 | YOU’RE INVITED! Membership Huddles are worshipful, fun, and meaningful quarterly gatherings of all Hope’s members, those interested in becoming members, and anyone fully committed to our community. The 2022 Winter Membership Huddle will be at Hope on Sunday, February 27 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. This quarter we will be celebrating our kick-off of Membership Renewal and our Lead Pastor Dean Wertz will encourage and cast more vision for what we believe God wants to do through Hope in the rest of 2022. Light refreshments and childcare will be provided – please click here to join our Membership Huddles Group in Church Center and RSVP if you plan on attending. If you have any questions or are interested in becoming a member, please feel free or contact Tara Farrell.

SUNDAY WORSHIP 9 AM | FEBRUARY 13. As we continue looking at Hope’s values, our second value is God’s Guidance. When we seek, live in, and desire God’s Presence, we will also get all of God’s Guidance…in every area of life. Living in the Presence of God is like having a GPS for every relationship, project, decision, culture, and area of your life. God wants to lead and direct us because He is our gracious and loving King. And He will lead us if we let him! But, be aware the destination God has for us as He leads may not always be the one we would choose for ourselves, but His Ways are always ultimately better than our ways. Join us this Sunday in person (or online) as Rob Cupp brings us a message entitled God’s Presence from Exodus 33:7-14.

HOSTING. This week’s Sunday Gathering will be hosted by the On Campus Hope Group. Thank you!

COMMUNION. We have been using pre-filled chalices as a contactless option for communion. While we will continue providing the pre-filled chalices at their usual locations, this Sunday we will also introduce another option for how our community can participate in communion. At the front of the Sanctuary, there will be two unmanned, small tables providing a dish of bread squares, and a cup of juice. Those who feel comfortable may walk forward during the service, dip a piece of bread in the juice, and partake. This approach is similar to how we united in communion pre-COVID, and is entirely optional. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

CURRENT COVID-19 PROTOCOL. Since Denver’s mask mandate was lifted on February 4, masks are no longer required inside Hope’s building. Our staff will continue to provide heightened sanitation and ventilation throughout the building.

YOUTH | GAME NIGHT TOMORROW! Don’t miss our Game Night this Friday, February 11 from  6-8 p.m. All students are welcome and please feel free to invite friends to this casual and fun-filled event. This month’s game night will be held at the Wertz Home, which is one block east of Hope’s campus. If you have any questions or would like to RSVP, contact Tara by email or 719-464-6812. We can’t wait to see you there, students!
