SUNDAY WORSHIP | JANUARY 22 | 9 AM. “Life Happens” is an often-heard phrase when we try to explain difficulty, pain and setbacks people face in life. Sometimes when “life happens”, the deeper and often unspoken question asked by those who have faith (and even those who don’t) is “Who is this God that allowed….or caused….or didn’t act in time?” We see this in the story of Moses. Israel finds themselves at the end of 400 years of being the slaves of Egypt and a God they have only heard about in family stories begins to move. And it doesn’t always seem that He moves in their favor. As they ask their questions, God is on a mission and revealing to His People who He really is. Join us this Sunday, January 22 at 9 a.m. as one of Hope’s Elders, Rob Cupp, brings us a message entitled All-Powerful Deliverer: Who is this God? from Genesis 15. THIS SUNDAY | MEMBERSHIP CLASS. Becoming a part of a local church is a gift from God when we become His children through faith in Jesus. If you consider Hope to be your church family, have you considered becoming a member? CHILDREN’S CHURCH. This 4th Sunday of the month is a Family Sunday! Children of all ages are invited to participate in the service with their parents. Please note there is no Children’s Church or childcare on Family Sundays. Activity pages, crayons, and sermon notebooks for kids are available at the welcome booth.The baby skybox is also available for families with babies and toddlers.
YOUTH. Thank you all so much for having a wonderful game night with us this Friday! We can’t wait to see you this Sunday, January 22 for Youth Group – from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. in the youth room. We will have games, snacks, and a wonderful discussion and prayer! See you there.
