Dear Hope,
Once again we are honored to serve as volunteers at Hope Heals Camp this summer, located just outside of Birmingham, Alabama! This year we’ll be serving for 2 weeks, from June 30 to July 12. Most of our family members will be serving as one-on-one “Compassionate Companions” who walk alongside individuals navigating disability or their typically-abled siblings. Joy will also be offering one-on-one spiritual direction sessions for women attending camp. In addition, Joy and Nate have been asked to host breakout sessions on grief and lament. Nate will also be offering breakout sessions to connect and minister to caregiving fathers and husbands. Would you please pray for our family as we engage this opportunity to extend the heart of Christ to these beautiful people? Pray for travel safety as we navigate almost 4,000 miles on this trip! Pray for physical health and energy along the journey. Pray for soul rest and spiritual discernment as we care for others. Pray God opens the hearts of each family attending camp to receive hope that only He can give.

WORSHIP SERVICE | SUNDAY JUNE 16 | 9 AM. When was the last time you had a problem that you really needed to solve but didn’t know how to do it because you either didn’t have enough information or you had enough information but didn’t know how to interpret it? When this happened, what did you do? Did you get anxious about the problem and lose sleep over it or pressure someone else to solve it? Did you stall for time or just give up on it? Join us this Sunday at 9 a.m. to worship, pray, and study a story from the book of Daniel that teaches us another name of God and a better way to solve problems. Pastor Arik will bring us a sermon titled Revealer of Mysteries from Daniel 2:20b-23. If you are unable to join us in person, please visit the 9 a.m. livestream or view the sermon recording here. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.
Children’s Church. This 3rd Sunday of June is a special day – Father’s Day! Kids 3 yrs old – entering 5th grade are invited to Children’s Church, where we will be engaging in a Father’s Day lesson and craft to honor our dads and the men in our lives who are examples of abiding in Jesus and bearing good fruit.
Nursery. The nursery is available this week, and every 1st and 3rd Sunday, for younger children, 0-2 yrs old. Parents, please check your child in at Kids Check-In prior to walking them back to the nursery.

Summer Camp. If you haven’t signed up yet for Weekend VBS, either to register your child, invite a friend, or serve in one of many important roles, we welcome you to do so TODAY! Camp Directors are working hard behind the scenes to make it memorable weekend that blesses kids and adults alike! 

CAN YOU HELP? VBS Donation Request. Our camp theme is Outback Rock: where kids venture into rock solid faith. We want to construct a set that resembles the Outback of Australia as well as sensory Bible adventures that make the Word of God come to life.
