SUNDAY WORSHIP | MARCH 19 | 9 AM. David was a hero. He defeated the villain and led the people to victory over the enemy. But David was human. And, like every human who has ever lived but one, David failed. He failed terribly. He sinned greatly. And his story reminds us that human heroes, even the best of them, fail. But one hero who is more than human never will. This Sunday we celebrate communion, and Executive Pastor Arik Stewart brings us a message entitled A Better Hero from Psalm 32. Can’t join us in person this week? Worship via livestream or view the recording here!

We are continuing in the Knowing God series and learning learn more about God’s incredible gifts: forgiveness and restoration.
YOUTH. Hey, parents and students! There is no youth group this Sunday – but join us next Sunday, March 26 from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. in the Youth Room for snacks, games, and discussion! And keep in mind that our next Game Night will be Friday, April 7 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. here at the church – we’ll have dinner, music, and minute-to-win-it games with tons of fun prizes! Keep an eye on your email for details, and RSVP with Tara.
FINANCIAL UPDATE. As we continue to thank God for his provision through generous gifts and robust savings, we are acknowledging our present and ongoing financial deficit, and collectively seeking God’s direction for decreasing our reliance on savings. If, as you pray for Hope, you have any insights to contribute during this collaborative process, please share your ideas with one of our Elders (Jay Oertli, Dan Kaskubar, John Shanks, Rob Cupp or Dean Wertz). If you have questions about our financials, please contact our Executive Pastor Arik Stewart or any of our Elders.
MARCH FOOD BANK DONATIONS. Our Food Bank is always in need of non-perishable food items and some non-food items, but following are the current needs for the month of March: Cereal • Tomato products • Diapers—Size 6. Thanks so much for your donations to the Food Bank. It’s a great way for Hope Church to serve those in need! Please bring items to the collection basket in the Foyer.
