HOLY WEEK.
MARCH 24 | 9 AM. This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and the first week with our Lead Pastor Dean Wertz returned from sabbatical! Join us for this special beginning to Holy Week, and be on the look-out for a fun and celebratory entrance from the Children’s Ministry at the end of our service. Pastor Dean brings us a message titled A Son’s Loyalty to His Father from John 12:12-19. We will worship God and consider Palm Sunday from a new perspective, through the eyes of Jesus. MARCH 29 | 6 PM. If you are interested in attending a Good Friday service, Reclamation Church has invited all of Hope Church to join their service next Friday, March 29 at 6 p.m. in the Sanctuary.
MARCH 31 | 9 AM. Easter will fall on the following Sunday, March 31, so join us for a special Resurrection Sunday message and time of worship!
HOPE GROUPS. We are so thankful for all the Sunday service assistance from our wonderful Hope Groups. This Sunday, we thank the Platt Park Hope Group for helping! Hope Groups are an amazing way to connect to others, deepen your relationship with God, and discover there is a family here for you at Hope. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY. This 4th Sunday of the month is a special Palm Sunday family service, where kids of all ages are invited to remain in church with their families, as well as participate in a worshipful palm branch procession at the end of the service. We encourage children to engage in all aspects of the service as they are able. Feel free to grab an activity packet at the welcome booth. The baby sky box is also available for families with babies and toddlers. HEY KIDS! INVITE YOUR FRIENDS & JOIN THE FUN! Hope & Reclamation Families – Toddlers thru 5th Grade! Join us Saturday March 30, 10 – 11:00 a.m. (and invite a friend or 2!) for an exciting Easter Egg hunt at Hope/Reclamation’s campus. Filled eggs will be scattered both outside at Hope Park and in the Sanctuary. In addition to the egg hunt, the event will include: Easter art and card-making table, refreshments, and Friendship Baskets (Please bring an extra basket to fill and drop on the doorstep of a neighbor or friend who may not know Jesus or belong yet to a local church family.)
Adult & teen volunteers needed to fill eggs, donate prizes, and volunteer on the day of the event for set up, running the event, and clean up. To volunteer, please sign up at the Info Booth or reach out to Becky Newquist!
FINANCIAL UPDATE. Giving was lower in February than has been normal in recent months but, overall, we continue to be in a cash-positive position in the first half of this ministry year. We thank God for the many households who give generously and consistently to Hope Church, resourcing us to fulfill Christ’s mission and vision in our community and around the world! You can give online here, by mailing a check to 1801 S. Logan St. Denver, CO 80210, or by using the offering boxes in the sanctuary.
FOOD BANK. The Community Ministry is in need of the following items: corn, jelly, and size 6 diapers. Please consider donating these items by placing them in the collection basket in the foyer. Thank you, Hope!
