This Sunday we worship and begin a new series on what Jesus has to say about relationships. According to our Lord, the greatest commandment is to love God and the second is to love our neighbors. In addition, He gave a third and new commandment to love one another. Do you ever feel unworthy of God’s love? Do you ever wish you could love God more consistently? Do you have any frustrating relationships with others in and/or outside of the church? If so, join us each Sunday in March at 9 a.m. as we begin by exploring the unconditional love of God and practical ways to express our love for Him followed (in future Sundays) by Jesus’ wisdom regarding loving others.

NEW ELDER VOTE. The term “Elder” is a word in the Bible used to describe an overseer for a local church. During this past Sunday night’s Membership Huddle, the current Elders proposed that John Shanks transition from serving as an Apprentice Elder to becoming an official Elder for the church. Hope’s Constitution gives our members the final authority to select our Elders. So, if you are a member, click the download here to see the Bible’s qualifications and vote by Sunday, March 13 on this important matter. Thank you!
FOOD BANK. The Community Ministry Food Bank is now collecting canned pinto beans, jelly, peanut butter, and cereal. A collection basket is in the Foyer. Please consider donating, and thank you!
HAVE A NEED? Your Hope family is here for you. If you need prayer, financial assistance, or help in any other way, please reach out to Pastor Jay here.
CURRENT COVID-19 PROTOCOL. Since Denver’s mask mandate was lifted on February 4, masks are no longer required inside Hope’s building. Our staff will continue to provide heightened sanitation and ventilation throughout the building.
