9 AM SUNDAY WORSHIP | APRIL 3. Authority is a prominent theme in the world, have you noticed? Nations fight regarding who has authority over what land. We notice police as authorities of the law in our daily lives. We recognize the authority of bosses and supervisors over us. But, one of the questions God begs of us in the Bible is who has authority over us? Over me and over you, individually? As we navigate John 11, we see how Jesus’ followers were wondering and battling with all of the different authorities in the world and then Jesus proves to them that He has authority over everything. What we learn from this, when it comes to Jesus, is that each of us grapples with the question, “you have authority over how much of me, Jesus?” Join us Sunday in person (or online) as Rob Cupp brings us a message entitled The Power of Our King from John 11:17-44.

WELCOME BECKY! As announced this past Sunday, we are so glad to welcome Becky Newquist as our Kids Ministry Director! She has been a passionate part of our community for over 10 years, and the Lord is already giving her guidance and peace in the ways we can continue to equip and benefit our many parents, kids, and families. During the transitional period between leadership, we were enormously blessed to have the help of Rebecca Wertz and Anna McMichael (interim directors). Anna McMichael was our previous Kids Ministry Director for many years, and although God is now leading her to other pursuits, she has been an integral part of our search for a new director and is fully dedicated to passing on all of her experience, strategies and knowledge. We are praising God for aligning these changes, and we are so excited to see what this new season brings to our Kids Ministry. Thank you Anna, Rebecca and Becky for faithfully seeking guidance and uniting in so many ways throughout this transition!
