HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY HOPE!
INFORMAL 9AM SERVICE TOMORROW WITH POTLUCK TO FOLLOW. Join us for worship and praise! Lead Pastor Dean Wertz brings a sermon titled From Threat to Brother from Acts 9:20-48. Immediately following the Service, all are invited to stay for Hope’s 27th Birthday Celebration. We will have a potluck so please bring a dish to share! Thanks to the Englewood Hope Group for hosting our morning tomorrow! As a reminder, the Sunday Service is available via livestream and the sermon is posted online on Monday.
Baptism October 11. We are planning to facilitate an opportunity to be baptized during the Service on Sunday, October 11. If you are interested in being baptized, please reach out to Pastor Dean or Administrative Assistant Aubrey Milton.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.
Children’s Church. Hope Kids will stay in the Service this week. Plan on putting a creative touch on the Hope birthday banner while we listen to the abbreviated sermon.
Babies and Toddlers – At any point before or during the Sunday Service, the Baby Sky Box is available for caregivers and their babies and toddlers.
For any questions regarding Children’s Ministry policies and procedures or interest in volunteering, please contact Becky Newquist.
YOUTH GROUP! Youth Group is now meeting Sundays from 5-7 p.m. for worship, study, food & fun! Please note that on Sunday, October 25, Youth Group will join the rest of the Church for the Fall Festival. Please bring friends! Also, we are still looking for volunteers that can cook – The Youth Group is in need of our assistance to make dinner/s for approximately 6-12 teenagers for one or more Sunday Night Youth Group gatherings at the church. One-and-done or on a 1x/month basis would be amazing. Please let Aubrey know if you are able to help! Thank you! For general questions on the Hope Youth Group, please reach out to Conner Snow.
FINANCIAL UPDATE. Thank you to so many who are giving consistently to Hope! For those who have recently joined our community and/or are curious about giving to Hope, you can give online here, mail a check to 1801 S. Logan St. Denver, CO 80210 or use an offering box in the back of the Sanctuary. May God richly bless all of you who pray, serve, encourage and give to equip Hope to help more people abide in Jesus throughout Metro Denver and around the world.
