Missions

“Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy.”
Psalm 67:3–4a

God invites everyone to join in His vision to be known and worshiped among people of all ethnicities. So, our understanding of and motive for joining in God’s mission is grounded in His word and distilled in the following statements.

  • God is supreme and He deserves the worship of all peoples. (Psalm 96:1-3)
  • We are called to be a people of mission. (Genesis 12:2-3; Isaiah 49:6b; Acts 1:8)
  • The Gospel gives hope to all people in this life and the life to come (Titus 2:11-13)

Hope is honored to unite through prayer, encouragement and financial support with the following missionaries who serve in Denver and throughout the world.

Oasis Of Hope: Burkina Faso, Africa

The Oasis center provides nutrient rich baby formula for infants whose mothers cannot produce enough milk for their babies, or who need supplementation due to lack of nutrition and food. This beautiful ministry extended their services years ago to train women to sew and make essential products, (like soap and kitchen items) to sell in markets in order to earn income to provide for their children. OOH shares the love of Jesus by meeting practical everyday needs, while teaching the Bible to those who arrive and work at the center. It was started by Don & Janet Guizzetti (former Hope missionaries/members), and is now being run by missionaries, Tony & Isabelle Covarrubias, along with several Burkina nationals.
