“Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you! Let the nations be glad and sing for joy.”
Psalm 67:3–4a
God invites everyone to join in His vision to be known and worshiped among people of all ethnicities. So, our understanding of and motive for joining in God’s mission is grounded in His word and distilled in the following statements.
- God is supreme and He deserves the worship of all peoples. (Psalm 96:1-3)
- We are called to be a people of mission. (Genesis 12:2-3; Isaiah 49:6b; Acts 1:8)
- The Gospel gives hope to all people in this life and the life to come (Titus 2:11-13)
