“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28
Life can be heavy, full of worries and burdens that make us feel anxious. At Hope, we believe God offers a new way of living – one that provides the opportunity to hand our concerns over to Jesus who asks us to rest in Him. He promises joy. He offers peace. This may sound simple and too good to be true, but in the quiet of stillness, we can go to Him and lay our burdens down. In this act of trust, He extends arms of love, peace and strength. He offers forgiveness and freedom.
We encourage you to find a quiet place to be with God. Tell Him what is troubling you, ask Him for wisdom (something He promises to all who ask), express your desires and listen. Be still. Hope and peace are there for you in Him.
If you would like to talk with someone at Hope Church about this opportunity to experience God’s gift of free and unending love, please let us know how we can support you.
We’d also love to meet and have you join us Sunday at 9 a.m.! We are a non-denominational intergenerational church located in Platt Park in south central Denver. We are made up of people with diverse backgrounds, united in a simple desire to abide in Jesus and provide hope in His name.
