WORSHIP SERVICE TOMORROW @ 9AM.  Join us for worship and praise! Also, one of Hope’s Elders Dan Kaskubar continues our series with a sermon titled Our Commitments: Gather from Acts 2.42-47.
As a reminder, tomorrow’s Service will be livestream and recorded. Also, thanks Young Adults Hope Group for helping host tomorrow’s Service!

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.
Children’s Church – Calling all kids, preschool through 5th grade! You’re invited to Children’s Church this Sunday, where we will be talking about why we GATHER with one another to grow in our faith, following the example of the very first Christian Church. We are continuing our deep dive into Acts 2:42, “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer.” We hope to see you there!

5th Grade Continuation– As our school year comes to a close, we will be saying goodbye to a special group of 5th graders as they transition from Children’s Ministry into Youth Group. We will have a time of celebration and commissioning during Children’s Church on Sunday May 31.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY IN ACTION | GATHER –
Last month, thirty (!) kids and adults gathered together, showed hospitality to new friends, dyed eggs, and worked together in teams on a fun scavenger hunt

Babies and Toddlers – At any point before or during the Sunday Service, the Baby Sky Box is available for caregivers and their babies and toddlers.
For any questions regarding Children’s Ministry policies and procedures or interest in volunteering, please contact Becky Newquist.

TOMORROW | YOUTH GROUP. Please note that in May, we will meet on the 3rd and 5th Sunday. Questions? Email Conner!

REMEMBERING WOODY HAINES

“For I know the plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
Jeremiah 29:11

Please join the Hope Church Community and the Haines family as we honor the life of Woody Haines, a man of God and long-time family member of Hope. This Celebration of Life will be held in the Sanctuary on Friday, May 29 at 11a.m. Immediately following all are invited to a reception downstairs. Additional details will be provided for a 2 p.m. graveside service.

MISSIONARY HIGHLIGHT. Hope is honored to unite through prayer, encouragement and financial support with missionaries who serve in Denver and throughout the world. Please see below for this month’s missionaries who are diligently serving God daily. Also, here is a video from the May 3 Sunday Service.

Nate & Joy Hoot: Colorado
Nate & Joy, and their family have been serving in various capacities at Hope Heals Camp for the last several summers. They have partnered with HHC to come alongside people and families living with disability, through counseling, praying, and leading workshops. Please pray for them as they prepare, and will continue to serve campers and families again this upcoming July.

Nate & Joy began their ministry, Awakening Hope, through navigating their personal journey of disability after their son, Ethan, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. They both have a heart to listen to, and encourage other parents and caregivers, who are on similar paths. They serve individuals and families across the U.S. by providing a safe space for others to share their grief and pain, while reminding them that they are seen and loved by their Heavenly Father. Nate and Joy live in Aurora, CO, with their daughter, Olivia, and son, Ethan. Their oldest daughter attends college in a Denver suburb, and Hope is their home church.
