Bulletin | October 10, 2026

Two churches became one on October 10, 1999. Maples were planted. Today, October 10, 2026 God has matured the community called Hope. On this day, Hope’s 27th birthday, we thank our Creator and Chief Shepherd for planting, sustaining and leading his church. We also thank each of you who are a part of this abide-in-Jesus local community. May he bless you for your prayer, serving, giving and investment in every way. May the One who builds his house be gracious to continue to establish an enduringly faithful relational disciple making movement throughout Denver and to the ends of the earth!
Love,
Rebecca & Dean
(on behalf of the elders & wives; staff; congregation – past, present & until He comes again)

9AM WORSHIP TOMORROW. Join us for worship and praise! Lead Pastor Dean Wertz brings a sermon titled Surprised by Love from Acts 9:32-11:18. Thanks to the Englewood Hope Group for hosting our morning tomorrow! As a reminder, the Sunday Service is available via livestream and the sermon is posted online on Monday.

BAPTISM. We were planning to facilitate baptism during the Service tomorrow, October 11. However, a request to postpone came from a young man who would like to be baptized when his family is in town at some point this fall. This is a request we are happy to honor. So, if you are interested in being baptized in the days ahead, please reach out to Pastor Dean or Administrative Assistant Aubrey Milton.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD.
It’s that time of year to consider being a part of a very special opportunity for giving to children in need! Prior to the Holiday Season, Hope takes part in this amazing effort to make a difference for many children at Christmas. Beginning next Sunday, October 18, please consider taking a shoebox (or more) to fill with toys, goodies, and gifts for children around the world.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY.
Click HERE for the Fall 2026 Edition of the Hope Kids Ministry Newsletter!

Children’s Church. Kids, please join us this week for Children’s Church as we continue our interactive journey through the book of Acts. We will be learning from the story of Peter and Cornelius, that God shows no favoritism and wants ALL people to be a part of His family.

Babies and Toddlers – At any point before or during the Sunday Service, the Baby Sky Box is available for caregivers and their babies and toddlers.

For any questions regarding Children’s Ministry policies and procedures or interest in volunteering, please contact Becky Newquist.

YOUTH GROUP!  Youth Group is now meeting Sundays from 5-7 p.m. for worship, study, food & fun! Please note that on Sunday, October 25, Youth Group will join the rest of the Church for the Fall Festival. Please bring friends! Also, we are still looking for volunteers that can cook – The Youth Group is in need of our assistance to make dinner/s for approximately 6-12 teenagers for one or more Sunday Night Youth Group gatherings at the church. One-and-done or on a 1x/month basis would be amazing. Please let Aubrey know if you are able to help! Thank you! For general questions on the Hope Youth Group, please reach out to Conner Snow.

GIVING, THANK YOU. We’d like to express our sincere gratitude to so many who are giving consistently to Hope! For those who have recently joined our community and/or are curious about giving to Hope, you can give online here. mail a check to 1801 S. Logan St. Denver, CO 80210 or use an offering box in the back of the Sanctuary. May God richly bless all of you who pray, serve, encourage and give to equip Hope to help more people abide in Jesus throughout Metro Denver and around the world.

HOPE GROUPS. Groups are an amazing way to connect to others, deepen your relationship with God, and discover there is a family here for you at Hope. If this sounds like something you are interested in, we’d love to have you join us. Click here for more information on all our Hope Groups.

COMMUNITY MINISTRY FOOD BANK. Our local food ministry is accepting any pantry foods with a shelf life that has not expired. Can you help? All items can be placed in the collection basket in the foyer. Thank you, Hope!
