MERRY CHRISTMAS HOPE!

6:30 PM CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP & CELEBRATION. Adolphe Adam composed the melody for O Holy Night in 1847. The music was originally written for a French poem entitled, ‘Minuit, chrétiens’ (Midnight, Christians). Eight years later, in 1855, John Sullivan Dwight translated the French poem into the well-known English lyrics we sing today. Join us at 6:30 p.m. this Christmas Eve as we will meditate on the central summons of this song, before Him lowly bend, celebrate the reasons to do so, and then light candles as we sing this, and other, Christ-exalting Christmas hymns! Invite friends and bring your family. Childcare will be provide for ages 3 and under. Little ones can be dropped off in the nursery prior to the service and will be brought to the Sanctuary to join their parents for the candle-lit singing portion of the service.

HOPE KIDS | MISSIONS IN ACTION Hope Kids Ministry and Missions Team join in rejoicing the Lord and his faithfulness! Every year our Missions Team supports Shelley and Dennis Noble with an extra gift at Christmas. They then help their Denver families at Church of the Risen Lord provide a Christmas for their kids in a way otherwise not possible. This year, the Kids Ministry at Hope wanted to help and our kids gave a total of $189 in just a few weeks! This money was added to a gift of $300 dedicated to our brother and sisters just a few miles away. We continue to raise the Nobles and their church up in our prayers as they celebrate His birth and promise fulfilled.

YEAR-END GIVING | HOPE NEEDS YOU! Thank you so much to those who are giving to Hope! We now need everyone to consider joining with us in three ways so we can continue to thrive in our mission in 2022.

2. For those who have been given the financial capacity, could you increase giving in 2022?
3. For EVERYONE, would you pray about giving an extra generous offering by December 31 to assist in our present financial need?

SUNDAY WORSHIP 9 AM | DECEMBER 26. Praise God, the wait is over! Christ is born and Christmas is over, but this Sunday, Tara Farrell brings a message asking us to continue to reflect on a final character from the nativity story – the lowly shepherds. We began Advent by asking, “What are you waiting for?”. Now, we ask ourselves the same question again – only this time we see how even the shepherds rejoiced exceedingly at the angel’s good news, and we ask ourselves – when it comes to worshipping and experiencing God – what are we waiting for? Join us this Sunday for worship at 9 a.m. in person or online (live and recorded service). Please note there will be no Kids Ministry and no Youth Group this Sunday.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL UPDATE. In light of Denver’s current mask mandate, we ask that you wear a mask while inside Hope’s building. Our staff continues to provides heightened sanitation and ventilation measures throughout the building and is providing masks and hand sanitizer at all entrances and exits.
