Throughout 2021, we reflected on the truths and resources God has given to Hope since our merged-beginning in 1999. The truths entrusted to us have been compiled in a new document called Hope’s Playbook and they will be this year’s church-wide focus for our kids, youth, Hope Groups and preaching. So, please begin the New Year with us this Sunday, January 2 at 9 a.m. to pray, sing and re-connect with God as Pastor Dean brings us our first message in our first series in 2022 from John’s Gospel entitled, Abide.
YEAR-END GIVING | HOPE NEEDS YOU! Thank you so much to those who are giving to Hope! We now need everyone to consider joining with us in three ways so we can continue to thrive in our mission in 2022.
1. For those who you are not in the habit of giving to the ministry of Hope, could you begin giving on a regular basis in 2022?
2. For those who have been given the financial capacity, could you increase giving in 2022?
3. For EVERYONE, would you pray about giving an extra generous offering by December 31 to assist in our present financial need?

You can give to Hope by using our offering boxes; mailing a check to Hope Community Church, 1801 South Logan Street, Denver, CO 80210; or using our online giving platform. If you are led to give a year-end gift, please ensure your check is delivered to Hope or give online by midnight Friday, December 31. Thank you!
SUNDAY WORSHIP 9 AM | JANUARY 2. According to the One whose birth we celebrated and whose return we await, God’s generous invitation to you is to “Abide in Me.” Don’t miss this week, or any of the upcoming messages in this series. We will learn what it means to abide in Jesus, how to experience the abiding life and receive the rewards afforded to those who abide! We look forward to gathering with you for worship at 9 a.m. in person or online (live and recorded service).
COVID-19 PROTOCOL UPDATE. In light of Denver’s current mask mandate, we ask that you wear a mask while inside Hope’s building. Our staff continues to provides heightened sanitation and ventilation measures throughout the building and is providing masks and hand sanitizer at all entrances and exits.
KIDS.
- KIDS MINISTRY UPDATE: Kids Ministry is now available on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month for ages 2 years- 5th grade. Family Worship Sundays will remain on 4th Sundays each month. During the Family Worship Services, children of all ages are invited to remain in the Sanctuary to learn and worship alongside their parents. The Skybox is available each week for families with toddlers and babies.
- EAGLE LAKE IS COMING! June 6-10, 2022 at Platt Park Church. Registration opens Jan 1. Camp details, registration and scholarship information will be available soon!
FOOD BANK. The Community Ministry Food Bank is now collecting corn, dry gravy packets, instant potatoes, pie crust mix, evaporated milk, canned cranberries, cake, and frosting. A collection basket is in the Foyer. Please consider donating, and thank you!
