Bulletin | July 14, 2023

This past Monday, parents, volunteers, and kids gathered for a first-of-a-kind Hope activity – a great hike at Roxborough State Park! This great group hiked a 2.2 mile trail and saw deer, a snake, lizards, butterflies, a historic homestead, wildflowers, red rocks, wild grasses, and grasshoppers! The hikers also enjoyed climbing, exercise, discovery, exploration, teamwork, laughter, grit, intergenerational friendship, appreciation of God’s majestic creation, and healthy snacks. Thanks to all who attended – what a great time!

9 AM SUNDAY WORSHIP | JULY 16. The continual sacrifices of the law were good because they temporarily eliminated our guilt and debt for sinning against God. But the once-for-all self-sacrifice of Jesus is better because it permanently eliminated our guilt and debt, it completely restored our relationship with God, and it’s making us perfect. Join us this Sunday as Executive Pastor Arik Stewart brings us a message titled Once for All from Hebrews 10:1-18. If you are unable to join us in person, please visit the 9 a.m. livestream or view the recording here.

NURSERY & CHILDREN’S CHURCH.
This 3rd Sunday of the month, children, ages 0-3 are invited to join Rebecca K. and Mirabel in the Nursery for a sweet time of play, story, and music.

Kids, 3 years old – 5th grade are invited to participate together in Children’s Church. Rebecca and Tara are back and they will be sharing a lesson they prepared for children in Canada this summer!

YOUTH. Thank you so much to the students who joined us for our video discussion and games last Sunday. No Youth Group this Sunday, but we look forward to seeing you on Sunday, July 23! Traveling over the summer? Missed the discussion last week? No worries! You can watch this week’s Alpha video at home to keep up with the conversation happening at Hope.

JOIN THE WORSHIP TEAM! The worship team would like to have more vocalists consider joining the group. Practices are Thursday evenings and female voices are especially welcome to balance the worship team. We’d love to sing with you! Please contact Joel Noble if interested and thank you!

7 PM THURSDAY WORSHIP | ALL INVITED. Calling all those who love to sing and/or play instruments! We are now gathering every Thursday in the Sanctuary from 7 – 9 p.m. Joel Noble, will be bringing extra instruments and offer casual lessons for those who want to learn to play guitar/ukulele/bass/mandolin/etc! During this time the worship team will also practice for Sunday mornings. Bring your instruments and your favorite worship songs in mind. Some weeks we may even enjoy a meal all together. Items can be brought to the collection basket in the Foyer.
