God our Father
As we move toward a day set aside for celebrating fatherhood, we encourage you to consider what a grand, privileged opportunity we have to live our whole lives in the position of “child” with the perfect Father.
A father who not only protects and guides and arranges the details of our lives, but offers us a gift of resting in him. We are not asked to rely on self and be independent, we are asked to seek His strength and to find comfort as a child would riding in the backseat of a car knowing the driver (the father) is in full charge. A ride of looking out the window – knowing that we can trust in the safety of the trip, and the destination.
When we become anxious or worried, we are reminded that He takes care of the birds and the lilies. When we want our own way, He gently reminds us that even Jesus looked to his Father for The Father’s will to be done. When we are frightened, we are offered the confidence that he is our strength and our shield. A solid rock and a foundation – a protector.
This Father of ours is one to celebrate and be thankful for each and every day. How blessed we are to be called sons and daughters of a King that is so gentle and so in-tuned with every detailed desire of our hearts.
Rejoice, Hope Church, rejoice. Happy (upcoming) Father’s Day!

SUNDAY SERVICE 9 AM | JUNE 20. Have you ever searched and searched for something and then you discovered that it was right in front of you all the time? In the book of John, many religious people had “searched the Scriptures” but totally missed that the words they studied were pointing to Jesus as the Christ and Messiah. Many of us do the same. We seek to learn and grow, but when Jesus arrives in our everyday lives we don’t recognize Him at all. Join us in person or online (live and recorded service) as Pastor Rob brings us a message entitled Missing Jesus from John 5:30-47.
COMMUNION. We will be participating in communion during our service this Sunday. In preparation, take some time this week to reflect on your relationship with Christ. Ask the Lord if there is anything hindering your relationship with him. Confess any sin that is brought to your attention. If you desire to take communion with us, be sure to receive your communion elements as you enter the Sanctuary on Sunday. If you are joining us online, please have your own elements ready at home.
