This week our sermon focus will progress from Jesus’ message about the Kingdom of Heaven to Jesus’ invitation (and, therefore, our invitation) into His Kingdom. So, Arik will begin our new mini-series entitled, “Our Invitation” this Sunday May 8 with a focus on the summons to “believe.” Then, Dan will share a clear and helpful way to communicate the Good News (Gospel) on May 15. Next, Dean will invest two Sundays (May 22 and 29) to further explain what Jesus and the apostles intended when they called their generation to “repent.” Finally, Tara will explain on June 5 what Jesus means when He invites us to “follow.” The elders, staff, preaching team and the whole Hope family invite you to join us to worship and consider these central themes in the life of Christ and our church!
9 AM SUNDAY WORSHIP | MAY 8. Jesus demonstrated His kingdom and His kingship in His life, death, and resurrection, so that all who believe that He is king can glorify Him and enjoy Him both now and forever. Join us on Sunday at 9 a.m. as we consider this compelling invitation to believe. We look forward to gathering in person or online as Pastor Arik brings us a message entitled Believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God from John 20:30-31.
KIDS.
- EAGLE LAKE REGISTRATION IS OPEN. Eagle Lake is coming June 6-10, 2022 to Platt Park Church. Click here for camp details, registration and scholarship information.
- KIDS MINISTRY. Kids Ministry is available on 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month for ages 2 years- 5th grade. Family Worship Sundays will remain on 4th Sundays each month. During the Family Worship Services, children of all ages are invited to remain in the Sanctuary to learn and worship alongside their parents. The Skybox is available each week for families with toddlers and babies.
YOUTH. Sunday, May 15, we will be holding our Youth Hope Group after the Service from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Come hang out, have a donut, play games, and enjoy a discussion of the sermon! We can’t wait to see you.
