Meg Benedik

As Equipping Elementary Teacher and a member of the Hope Kid’s Ministry Team, Meg, has seen her role adapt and change along with the ministry at Hope over the years. She started as a Youth Ministry volunteer in 2007, volunteered as a Kid’s Ministry teacher and now serves on the Kid’s Ministry team in various capacities. She uses her passion for teaching and child development to equip and train teachers, her desire for creating community to organize fellowship opportunities for parents, children and volunteers, and her love of Christ to keep Him as the center of the Elementary Classroom on Sundays.

Meg graduated from DePauw University in 2003 where she met her best friend and husband, Michael Benedik. They were married in 2009. She followed God’s calling and studied in Cape Town, South Africa where her heart for service and travel was further ignited. After two years of Americorps here in Denver, she began her Masters in Educational Psychology at the University of Denver and has been teaching or nannying in the Denver Metro Area since. Along with serving at Hope, she is currently teaching half-day Kindergarten at Busy Bee Preschool and Kindergarten in Littleton, CO. She loves going on a run, escaping to the mountains, reading a good book and caring for those around her.
