Empty boxes will be available in the Sanctuary each Sunday, or you can use your own shoebox. Finished boxes can be brought to the Sanctuary on Sundays until November 14. Please include $9 per box for shipping (cash or check made out to OCC). - Packing Party
Mark your calendar for November 13. We will gather at Hope for a packing party (time TBA). We need your involvement and can promise that you will be blessed! - Donate Items or Funds
Prior to November 7, please consider donating items or funds to this year’s OCC Packing Party! Donate items such as toiletries, school supplies and WOW items. Collection bins will be available for these items in the sanctuary. Donations can be made via cash or check (Please note ”OCC” in memo). Online donations can by made here (please select “OCC” from the dropdown). Some of you have asked how you can donate specifically to the shipping cost for those who may not be able to, please note in memo that your donation is for “shipping fund.”
Please consider telling your neighbors, friends and family about this opportunity. So many people are looking for ways to help others during the holiday season and this is one wonderful way to give! Thanks to the On-Campus Hope Group, we already have 112 boxes filled, and we are excited to see how many more we can pack this year. SUNDAY SERVICE 9 AM | OCTOBER 24. Join us for a very special Family Sunday in which we invite the children to demonstrate all the pieces of the Armor of God, and we hear a short devotional from Pastor Jay Oertli on what it means to have shoes made of the readiness given by the gospel of peace. Join us in person or online/live and recorded service) for a message entitled Shoes Ready with Peace from Ephesians 6:10-15.
HOSTING. This week’s Sunday Gathering will be hosted by the Harvard Gulch Hope Group!
KIDS.
- KIDS MINISTRY. Sunday School for ages 2 years-5th grade is available on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of each month. Children of all ages are invited to remain in the sanctuary to learn and worship alongside their parents on the 4th and 5th Sundays. The Skybox is available for families with toddlers and babies.
- FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORK. Head, Heart, Hands. Parents, This is a simple framework for exploring the Scriptures as a family and opening up meaningful conversations with everyone in the family…even in the midst of our busy lives!
- EPHESIANS SCRIPTURE SERIES. Kids and adults are exploring the book of Ephesians this fall. Here is the Scripture Reading Schedule to read along as a family throughout the week to see more of what God wants to reveal to you and your children.
- UPDATED COVID GUIDANCE. August 2021
HOLIDAY FOCUS | FOOD BANK COLLECTION. The Community Ministry Food Bank is now collecting food for Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes. Please consider donating stuffing, pie crust mix, evaporated milk, cranberries, cake and frosting. A collection basket is in the Foyer. Thank you!
