Dear Hope,
Psalm 96 declares, sing to the Lord, all the earth and Hope Church loves to sing! So, worship is a big part of life in our community and God has always provided leadership in this area to help us sing to the Lord.
As Rob announced on Sunday, we have recently transitioned our worship leadership from Morgan McCullough back to Seth Slay.
Morgan stepped up to serve as our Worship Leader from mid-May 2020 through mid-March 2021. We thank God for Morgan who was the right leader to bring us through this challenging time beginning with recorded services, followed by livestreaming services and then a return to in-person services with an added remote option.
In recent days, Seth Slay (Bloom’s Worship Leader and our previous Worship Leader before Morgan) became available again to serve at Hope in addition to his role with Bloom. So, we have re-hired Seth to serve in this role with an additional aspect of providing monthly training for future and emerging worship leaders from within Hope and beyond.
The timing was good for Seth and Morgan who, in addition to having a full-time job managing a warehouse and being a husband for Britney and a father for Zora, is also facilitating a family move into a new home while Britney is expecting their second child. Morgan plans to serve on our Worship Team once the McCullough’s transitions settle down.
Welcome back Seth. We look forward to worshiping together and having you back on the team!
Hope, please pray for the McCulloughs, Slays and Leah Stewart who will continue assisting Seth as she did for Morgan. And join us this Sunday and whenever you can as we unite each week to (among other things) sing to the Lord!
Love,
Dean
