SUNDAY SERVICE 9 AM | October 10. How do you know what is true? In the “information age”, where we have constant immediate access to the media, it can be difficult to untangle the objective reality from our limited knowledge and personal experience. In his concluding message to the Ephesians, Paul calls all believers to armor themselves against the lies and confusion of their day. He warns the only way to stand firm against spiritual attack is to bind our faith together with the fundamentally important belt of truth. Join us this Sunday (in person or online/live and recorded service) as Ministry Coordinator & Youth Ministry Director Tara Farrell, brings us a message entitled Girded Together in Truth from Ephesians 6:10-14a. This week’s Sunday Gathering will be hosted by the Aurora Hope Group!
MEMBERSHIP HUDDLE. Let’s have fun and seek God together! In addition to gathering on Sunday mornings, this year we will gather together as a community four times for what we are calling our new Membership Huddles. Our first huddle will be next Sunday Oct. 17 from 6-7:30 p.m. on Hope’s campus. Childcare will be provided. Desserts and hot drinks will be served. If you are an official member, if you are considering membership or if you simply consider Hope your church family, please join us!

- KIDS MINISTRY. Sunday School for ages 2 years-5th grade is available on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of each month. Children of all ages are invited to remain in the sanctuary to learn and worship alongside their parents on the 4th and 5th Sundays. The Skybox is available for families with toddlers and babies.
- FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORK. Head, Heart, Hands. Parents, This is a simple framework for exploring the Scriptures as a family and opening up meaningful conversations with everyone in the family…even in the midst of our busy lives!
- EPHESIANS SCRIPTURE SERIES. Kids and adults are exploring the book of Ephesians this fall. Here is the Scripture Reading Schedule to read along as a family throughout the week to see more of what God wants to reveal to you and your children.

HOLIDAY FOCUS | FOOD BANK COLLECTION. The Community Ministry Food Bank is now collecting food for Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes. Please consider donating stuffing, pie crust mix, evaporated milk, cranberries, cake and frosting. A collection basket is in the Foyer. Thank you!
