9 AM SUNDAY | SEPTEMBER 18. We’re Christians. We’re people of deep conviction; primarily about the Lordship of Christ but also about lesser things, even things that Scripture doesn’t directly address. When we believe that we’re free to do something that another Christian believes is wrong or is tempted by, should we do it? Should we exercise our freedom or restrain it? Though the Corinthian church had different circumstances than ours, they too grappled with this difficult question and Paul, an Apostle of Christ, answered it, for them and for us. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY. This 3rd Sunday of the month, all kids ages 2-5th grade are invited to join us in Children’s Church! Rebecca, Tara, Joan, and Carol will be leading a lesson on the 3rd of our 10 Essential Truths of the Gospel: “God is holy and righteous”.
Parents, we seek to partner with you in helping our children understand the best news ever told. Please stop by the welcome booth to pick up the resource booklet put together by Children Desiring God to follow along over the next 8 weeks. Kids will be given a weekly family discipleship handout to continue the discussion at home. Previous weeks’ handouts will also be available at the welcome booth.
Children’s Choir – The kick-off for Children’s Choir rehearsal is this Sunday, immediately following Children’s Church, from 10:00-10:30 in the Youth Room. Please email Kelsey Hoot to sign up or for more information.
