“I try to please everyone in everything I do, not seeking my own advantage,
but that of many, that they may be saved.”
 I Corinthians 10:33

9 AM SUNDAY | SEPTEMBER 25. Last week we studied Paul’s exhortation to the Corinthian church to prioritize loving others by not exercising personal freedoms when love and freedom conflict. This week we will study the reverse: prioritizing loving others by not restraining freedoms when restraint is unnecessary and deters people from receiving the Gospel message. Love restrains freedom for the sake of other Christians but love also frees restraint for the sake of those who aren’t yet Christians. Join us in person or online as we seek to better understand this way of living that Christ himself lived. This week, Executive Pastor Arik Stewart brings the message Love Frees Restraint from 1 Corinthians. See you Sunday!

HOPE GROUPS. Maybe you’ve been thinking about joining a group… ? We’d love to connect with you! Click here for more information!

YOUTH. Thank you so much to everyone who made it out to our Wash Park Picnic! We had a great time eating pizza and playing games. Keep in mind that Youth Group is now happening every 2nd and 4th Sunday starting this week! Meet us after the service from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. in our Youth Room for snacks, games, and a brief discussion. Can’t wait to see you there!

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY. This 4th Sunday is Family Sunday, so there will be no Children’s Church. Children are invited to worship together with their families and our intergenerational congregation. Please stop by the welcome booth at the back of the sanctuary for resources to help children engage with worship and teaching.

If you would like to prepare before Sunday, this resource offers several strategies for engaging children in the worship service, along with biblical teaching on the powerful value of including children in corporate worship alongside their parents.

FINANCIAL UPDATE. Thank you so much for giving to Hope Church! You can learn more about giving here. If you have questions about giving or financials, please contact our Executive Pastor Arik Stewart.
