Sunday Invite from Pastor Dean | Kids, God is For You!
SUNDAY SERVICE 9 AM | SEPTEMBER 26. God loves children and so do the people of Hope. Since the kids will be with us throughout this 4th Sunday Service, Pastor Dean will bring a shorter and kid-relevant message entitled, “Kids, God is For You!” from Ephesians 6:1-4. Parents, this message will encourage your children to abide in Jesus in various ways, including through obedience and honor toward you. So if you are in town, join us as God’s family unites to worship and receive His wisdom for our everyday lives. Livestream and the recorded service will also be available.
REVERSE BOOK DRIVE | THIS SUNDAY! We are in the process of re-purposing our Library Room (down the hall from the Sanctuary) so we are holding a Reverse Book Drive. Through the years, we have been blessed with amazing donations (thank you!), and would like now to share these books. This Sunday, please browse our Library and take any books you would like to keep or share with others. After September 26, the remaining books will be donated to local Christian bookstores.
AND WHAT’S IN STORE FOR THE LIBRARY SPACE?… A NEW YOUTH GROUP ROOM! Hey Youth – Get ready to get messy! Immediately following the Worship Service on October, 3, we will meet (10:30-11:30 a.m.) to move furniture and possibly begin to paint the walls of the former Library in order to create a new, accessible, and updated Youth Room! We’d love to have your help and creative ideas. Parents, please send your teens to Hope Group with paint clothes (ponchos will be available if needed). We can’t wait to create something new together!
KIDS.
- KIDS MINISTRY. Sunday School for ages 2 years-5th grade is available on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Sundays of each month. Children of all ages are invited to remain in the sanctuary to learn and worship alongside their parents on the 4th and 5th Sundays. The Skybox is available for families with toddlers and babies.
- FAMILY DISCIPLESHIP FRAMEWORK. Head, Heart, Hands. Parents, This is a simple framework for exploring the Scriptures as a family and opening up meaningful conversations with everyone in the family…even in the midst of our busy lives!
- EPHESIANS SCRIPTURE SERIES. Kids and adults are exploring the book of Ephesians this fall. Here is the Scripture Reading Schedule to read along as a family throughout the week to see more of what God wants to reveal to you and your children.

HOLIDAY FOCUS | FOOD BANK COLLECTION. The Community Ministry Food Bank is now collecting food for Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes. Please consider donating stuffing, pie crust mix, evaporated milk, cranberries, cake and frosting. A collection basket is in the Foyer. Thank you!
