Hi Hope!
This Sunday we will worship God and begin a new series entitled In Christ in Culture through 1 Corinthians. The preaching team and I are excited to share what we’ve been learning about living in Christ while living in our contemporary world from this letter from Paul to his generation and ours. We hope you can join us in person or online this Sunday (and as many as possible!) as we journey through this divinely inspired and relevant letter this fall!
Love,
Dean

9 AM SUNDAY | AUGUST 14Problems exist in the world and church. For us who live in Christ to be of service in the brokenness, the opening paragraph in Paul’s first letter to the Corinthian Church starts by assuring Christians of our blessed status with God. Join us Sunday at 9 a.m. to worship God as we begin our timely series entitled, “In Christ in Culture” through the book of 1 Corinthians! We look forward to gathering with you in person or online as as Pastor Dean brings our message entitled In Christ | Called & Confirmed from 1 Corinthians 1:1-9. See you Sunday!

EXCITING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY.  On Saturday, August 20, come be a blessing to our long-term church partners: People’s Church of the Risen Lord! We will assist with some much-needed maintenance on the church grounds. Meet us on-site where we will pray and break into groups to tackle the following projects:
– Pulling weeds
– Clearing sidewalks
– Trimming vines/trees/bushes
– Mowing/raking the lawn
Hope Church will provide yard tools, trash bags, water bottles, and other necessary supplies. Please be sure to bring your own sun protection and work gloves. At the end of the morning, there will be free pizza! Please click here to save all the details and add the event to your digital calendar. If you plan on attending, please RSVP to Tara via email or text (719) 464-6812.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY. This is the 2nd Sunday of the month and Children’s Church will be available for children ages 2 – 5th grade. For school-aged children, August marks a significant transition. That of saying goodbye to summer and hello to a new school year. we will be taking a pause to reflect on what God has done in our lives over the summer and what we are anticipating for this school year, while re-centering on the truths of God that remain the same through every season. Becky and Jason will be leading this Sunday, along with our kind and creative new helper, Kylie Whitaker. To learn more about our recurring Children’s Ministry schedule, click here.
