Imagine a Church with Financial Peace | Philippians 1:1-11

After my Aunt Martha and I tried to convince the other why each of us should be allowed to cover the cost for a family meal out, she pulled the bill out of my hand, looked at me and said with her winning smile, “Dean, sometimes it’s good to just say, ‘Thank you.'” Her gift to me was more than a meal. She taught me the importance of expressing gratitude in the presence of generous people. Hope, you are a generous family! Please join as at 9 a.m. this Sunday as we worship God, learn how Paul thanked God for the Philippian Christians who gave financially so others could live with God in Christ and thank God for all of you (here in Denver and around the world) who do the same! I look forward to bringing the  message titled Imagine a Church With Financial Peace from Philippians 1:1-11. If you are unable to join us in person, please visit the 9 a.m. livestream or view the recording here.
Looking forward to worshiping together! -Dean

Love with Quality, not Quantity | 1 Corinthians 16

This Sunday, as we reach the final chapter of I Corinthians and the end of our series, we reflect on all of the ways the body of Christ has struggled with political division and cultural controversy since the very first century. Yet in this final chapter was also see Paul encouraging us to continue to strive for unity and generosity in the faith, and demonstrates that love is not measured in quantity – but in quality. Join us at 9 a.m. as Ministry Coordinator Tara Farrell brings a message on how to love the church with generosity, abundance, and joy.

The Vineyard: from Vision to Fruition | 2 Corinthians 9.6-15 (Cheerful Giver)

Paul makes it clear in this text that the condition of our heart is what’s most important when we give financially. Our community has landed on the Biblical vineyard metaphor in regard to our 3 key priorities for this new ministry year, and our vision is that we all bear abundant spiritual fruit for the Lord’s glory and for our joy. This is an appeal to cheerfully respond to the opportunity to significantly invest in bringing the church’s vision to fruition, as we seek to be a community on mission together.

The First Portion to Share | Prov. 3:9-10

Since everything we have is a gift from God, what does He want us to do with it? For the next three weeks we will consider instructions from God regarding what to do with His resources. This week we discover that He wants His children to take the first portion of all that He sends our way and share it in ways that honor Him. When we do this, according to Solomon and King Jesus, God sees and rewards.

Give Possessions Generously | Romans 12:1-13

Why are some people so generous? What moves a woman, man or child to cheerfully share their food, home, clothing and money? Jesus observed that a woman who had been forgiven much loved much by generously anointing Him with her expensive perfume (Luke 7). While there are many motives for giving, in this message we consider gratitude to God for His grace as divine fuel for generous, sustained and joyful giving.
