God Most High | Genesis 14

Join us on Sunday at 9 a.m. for the second week in our study on the names of God. We will take a look at the Hebrew name “El Elyon” which was first introduced in a fascinating story of rebellion, war, hostage taking, hostage retrieval and an unexpected reminder of God’s blessing to Abram and the world; a reminder we all need from Elyon, God Most High!

God the Creator | Genesis 1:1-5

A.W. Tozer wrote “What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us.” This spring we will think about God by learning the names of Himself that He made known to us in the Bible. Join us this Sunday at 9 a.m. as we begin with the first name of God revealed in the early pages of the Bible, The Creator.

The Love of God | John 20:24-31

Have you ever said something you wish you could take back? Have you ever felt distressed because you did something foolish? This Easter, God wants you free from shame. Join us at 9 a.m. to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus through song, reading of scripture, and a message to astound you with the unexpected, undeserving and unrelenting love of God for you!

Grace and Peace to You | 1 Peter 1:1-2

What does faithfulness in this 2024 election year look like amid our diverse, divided and chaotic world? What should you say or not say when others declare ideas that are opposed to God’s ways revealed in the Bible? How should you love your neighbor, co-worker or classmate when they are openly hostile toward Christ? A first-century-bold proclaimer faced similar tensions in his generation. So, Jesus trained Peter to be strong amidst opposition with a Christ-like presence. Join us this Sunday January 7 to worship God as we begin our new study, “Gentleness – a beautiful way in a chaotic world” through Peter’s first letter!

Jesus’ Gifts to Us: God’s Leadership | Isaiah 9:6-7

In 700 B.C. it was announced, “Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end.” If Jesus is the fulfillment of this prophecy, where is the increase of His influence? Where is unending peace? Join us this Sunday at 9 a.m. to sing, pray, light Advent candles and consider what the promised gift of Christ’s governance looked like in the 1st century, what it looks like today and what it will look like in the days to come.
