Jesus’ Gifts to Us: God’s Joy | Luke 2:8-21

The Christmas Holiday is full of many traditions, emotions, memories and gifts, which make it “the most wonderful time of the year.” All of this celebration is fitting because we are celebrating the greatest news to ever be uttered at anytime on this planet. The angel who originally announced this great message described it as “good news of great joy that will be for all people.” Why is the gift of Jesus to cause such great joy? Do we live in the joy we were meant to have? What are the implications of this joy for each of our lives? Join us as we explore the great joy of this Christmas Season!

God’s Vision for All Nations in the New Testament | Revelation 7:9-17

Let’s be honest, “go therefore and make disciples of all nations” is a big ask. Participating wholeheartedly in Jesus’ Great Commission is a big investment of time, money, and energy. So much so that many who do eventually burn out. However, there are also many who endure for years, decades, even lifetimes co-missioning with Jesus. How do they? What sustains them? God sustains them in his great, big MISSION by sharing with them his great, big VISION. And he can do the same for each of us!

No Longer Waiting | Luke 2:8-21

Praise God, the wait is over! Christ is born and Christmas is over, but this Sunday, Tara Farrell brings a message asking us to continue to reflect on a final character from the nativity story – the lowly shepherds. We began Advent by asking, “What are you waiting for?”.
